oh, DH...
I asked H to make a new mac and cheese recipe in the crockpot today. It only takes 3 hours so he started it around 1.
First he calls me and says that we bought too much macaroni noodles. I explained we didn't need to use all of them. Then, he calls me back and says that the cheese and butter won't melt together because of the oils in the cheese.
He just called me again to say that he needs more cheese because it just doesn't have a cheesy flavor. I asked him how in the world he got all of this into the 4 qt. crock pot and here's the best part...
He says " I did the guy thing. I went to Walmart and bought a bigger crock pot."
*sigh*

LOL - this literally made me laugh out loud!
Don would SO do that, if I left him in charge of making something new when I wasn't around to help!
I'm still kinda giggling about it. I asked him where we were going to put this new one since we're completely out of kitchen space he said something like "thats not what I was thinking about at the time. But I'll figure it out!"
And Jessie, the other one was new! It was a wedding gift and I'd only used it twice. lol
I never expected him to have such a dedication to mac and cheese.
