What are you grateful for?
1. I left my gold Mastercard ATM card in plain view in the console of my car overnight - parked on the street - in Clifton - and my car was undisturbed this morning. It still surprises me that I didn't come back to find my window smashed and have no idea why, and then still have no idea how that bank acct got drained.
2. I got stuck in the traffic on 75S this morning for 40 minutes - making me really late to work. Today is my boss' first day of vacation and he has no idea how late I was.
3. While I really hate campaign ads, one for Judge Judith something ran an add during the show "Judge Judy". So now when I'm seeing things that would really annoy me, I'm kind of chuckling over Judge Judy running an ad during Judge Judy.
4. I'm embarking on a 5-day weekend & should be able to get some massive work done on the kitchen - which makes me happier than going on the trip I had to cancel.
Re: Thank you Tuesday!
I am Thankful for:
1. MH's new job.
2. Everyday I get to spend with my grandma.
3. That it is not Monday.
I'm thankful for...
1 - My H; I would be so lost without him. We just celebrated our 1st Anniversary (yay!) and getting to reminisce about the wedding & past year is so cool.
2 - My friends and family.
3 - That I only have 3 of my Wednesday night classes left (even though its so much work getting from class to class).
4 - I only have 7 more of Monday night classes left (and its hard, too!).
1. Very supportive family and friends
2. A job with a lot of flexibility, that I really do enjoy.
3. My dogs.
4. My freedom.
My H-so supportive and my best friend
my dog-always makes you feel like you are loved no matter what you do
my job-not the job I REALLY want but I am thankful that I have a job.
To be honest, yesterday I was grumpy and not thankful for s***. Today is a better story.
There were two crappy job-related things that I anticipated happening. (Not layoff crappy, but crappy nonetheless.) I found out that neither is going to happen.
After spending the past month with overtime hours coming out my butt, my workload is starting to stabilize a bit. I feel like I can breathe. I'm feeling a glimmer of liking my job again.
And btw, overtime at my job does not mean time and a half. It means if we go a little over our quota for the month, we get a few bucks and a pat on the back pretty much. SO NOT WORTH IT. But this is a thankful day and I used the extra money to justify cute new running clothes.
