Okay, I'll start:

I'm thankful for the little bit of rain and cool weather we've had here in San Diego, it inspired me to take out one of our fun fall-inspired recipes that I would have otherwise forgotten about: Tomato-curry soup hit the spot during this particularly cool-San Diego October

I am thankful that my little cousin made it out of surgery alright! Poor little man. He is 12 years old, was the best ring bearer in history, and his appendix burst! He is doing well in recovery now...thank God.

I am thankful for cold medicine. I've had a nasty cough all week, and I always forget that you can medicate these things! Result? I feel much better and don't sound like a pack-a-day smoker.

I am thankful that my parents rock in their old age and can still help us with remodeling around the house.

I am thankful that I have a job....even if it is totally boring me.

I am thankful for the 2 potential job oppurtunities that have come my way today alone. Things may be turning around after all.

I am also thankful that H decided to talk to his boss about comprising on all the extra "runs" they have coming now thru Christmas. I think he's realizing that it would be nice to see each other more than just crawling into bed together for a few hours of sleep.
