Have we talked Halloween?
I want to hear about costumes!
Favorite ones, your ideas for this year, etc.
Re: Have we talked Halloween?
For one party, we are going as the bear "claw" and deer "antlers" (It's a Texas Rangers thing)
For another, I think we're going as Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth, but it's still up in the air.
Russ is at work for Halloween (big surprise there), but Gibson wants to dress up as Buzz Lightyear and wants Izaac to be his best friend, Woody. I don't know if I'll be dressing up or not, it will most likely be a last minute decision.
We won't be dressing up this year. I use to have to dress up for work. I'm all about easy costumes.
My 3 favorites that I've done are a landry basket, the floor of a movie theater and a disgruntled housewife.
Ditto this!
I am really excited to dress up and get pics of Makenna though!

No dressing up this year, but my favorite costumes were the Stanley Cups the sis and I made for 97 and 98 Red Wing wins. I have to admit I usually just buy a costume, but those were fun to make.
Ooh, I thought I was the only one.

Jim's frat brother has this ridiculous house party every year with a million people, half of whom the host has never met. It's a costume party, to boot. It's crowded and horrible and I hate it and we have to go. So we go early and leave early (like stay an hour tops). You would think at some point people would grow up, but apparently not.

Ditto...and I am so glad that Halloween is on the weekend so my kids don't give me grief about not dressing up for school.

Love the stanley cup idea. What a cool costume.
I'm not sure we are doing anything for halloween but it will probably be easy and revolve around Mad Men since Dh has plenty of suits and I can easily look like a secretary from the show. Hurrah easy costumes.

J and I are having our first Halloween party. I'm going to be an Indian and he's going to dress as a cowboy.
The thing that bugs me about Utah is that since Halloween falls on a Sunday, all the kids go Saturday. I'm all about respecting the major religion around here, but I think that changing a holiday is a little much. Mini vent over.
Chiming in late.
We have several parties to go to this year. I am usually lame about costumes but excited for this one I thought of. I will be dressing as a 50's housewife and DH is going as the milkman.
