  • I recognized it, but couldn't place what it was. I haven't read the book in over a year or so though, so I can give myself a little credit. :) I love HP, I even reread ALL six books again before Deathly Hallows, it's amazing what details you catch reading them again and again. Glad someone else likes them too, sometimes I feel all alone in my love... Everyone is stuck in a Twilight phase it seems.

  • I know! I know! But I'm waaay too late.

I put off reading Harry Potter because I thought it was too overhyped. I decided to read the first one over the summer and finished the whole series in three weeks! I love it.

I can't wait for the next movie, but none of them lived up to the books for me : /

I'm with you on that.  I loved the books, and I re-read all the previous ones each time a new book came out plus sometimes just for fun.  I felt like they started getting pretty commercial, which just bugged me at first.  Then it started to really feel like they were written just to be movies, and I thought they lost a lot of their charm.  I thought the movies were just ok (some better than others), but after reading the book before last (I think) I decided not to read any more or see any more movies.  I was super into HP, but I just don't like where it went.

I've never gotten into HP, so I had no idea what that was.  But I would like some cupcakes, please. :-)

hahahahaha. Love this. You show 'em! I have two tattoos.

I carry a book with me everywhere I go and keep one in my car at all times. I never got into HP books or LOTR books - I do like LOTR movies.

  • I feel the same way about the movies Laura (I think that's who it was). I watched them up to the 5th, and felt they left so much important stuff out from the book I still haven't seen the 6th and it really bugs me that they chose to separate it into two movies. Don't they think the fans will sit through a long movie instead? Much like the LOTR movies. I read The Hobbit and the first one, but got stuck with the second, it seemed to just be a lot of walking and battling, and got boring. I love to read, but haven't in quite a while- I need some good recs! Anyone game?
