Anyone been on Progestin only BC? question..
About 4 months ago I started progestin only BC pills (the one I took was Micronor). ?I switched from a combined pill. After switching I had one period, back in May, and haven't had one since. ?I'm not pregnant, and have been to the doctor with not a whole lot of answers, so I decided to stop taking them altogether. ?I have been off them for about 1 1/2 months and am not taking anything else. Still no period. ?I'm wondering if anyone else on these types of BC have had issues like this..and how long it took for your cycle to become regular again after stopping usage? ?Thanks for the help!

I am taking a progesterone only BC, and my doctor told me it would make my periods very light and short, so I guess it definitely affects your cycle.
Going that long without a period is not normal, you definitely need to call your doctor, they will probably give you something to jump start it.
If it helps, a few years ago I tried NuvaRing for three months, and after I stopped using it I didn't have a period for three months. Then everything went back to normal.
I agree, though, that you should see a doctor, if you haven't already.
