Anyone been to Bahamas?
First off, I thought this board had died and gone to heaven but apparently it's still alive. LOL
So, anyone been to Bahamas. Any restaurants that we *have* to try or any place that we need to go? We are visiting there briefly next month and we are so freaking excited. I googled some ideas but I know you ladies provide some good recs. Thanks.

Where in the Bahamas will you be? There are many restaurants at the Atlantis if you will be in that area.

We went for our honeymoon - it was so amazing.
We went to Atlantis and our hotel for dinner mostly, but one night DH made reservations at a place called "Sun And..." You'll need to take a taxi, but it's so worth it. It's a tiny little place and the food & service was fantastic. Plus there were a lot of locals there, which we loved.
We also went on this beautiful sunset sail that included dinner, but the food wasn't anything to write home about.

Try tripadvisor.com for some good ideas...I used them a lot when I was going to Aruba. Have a great time girlie!

Thanks for the tips and well wishes. I believe we are going to Grand Bahama. I would definitely try the local dishes and hang with the locals. And yes, I am definitely looking forward to the beach. Hmm and I think we should squeeze in a visit to the Atlantis. Just to put on our bucket list or something.
