Who took clomid?
which of you ladies took clomid? Did it help? Where there any side effects?
I picked up my prescription today...one for progesterone to start my period and then the clomid once i get it.

I took 3 rounds and as you know it didn't help me (but that was not the Clomids fault, so don't take my experience). Clomid does help as I know some of the girls on the GP board have gotten PG.
I had some mood swings (more on the 125 or 150 mg) hot flashes, tired, emotional, etc. I would recommend taking it at night so that you sleep through most of the effects.
Are you being monitored while taking the drug (ultrasounds to see when you are ovulating)? If not, I highly recommend that you are to avoid complications. As Brandi would tell you (and she was great in helping me) it is so important to be monitored and I never realized that until she and Naty talked to me about all this and going to the RE.

I took it for one cycle and got pg with Emmy. I think I only needed the 50mg.
Honestly I felt awful on it. It gave me headaches and I just didnt feel right, so thankfully I only had to take it one cycle.

Thanks for the info! I'm kind of nervous and excited about taking it and hopefully getting pg! I do have to call my dr once my period starts to set up an ultrasound. Is that what you mean by monitoring?
He should be monitoring you a few times in your cycle to see when you are ovulating. It does sound like he will probably have you come in at a certain day on your cycle to see if you are ready, so I think you are good there. Mine just gave me the meds and said to call if not PG or PG, so your OB sounds much better.

Heather's right. I took it. 50 mgs for 2 cycles (pregnant once) 100mgs for 2 cycles (pregnant twice)
It wasn't too bad for me... I took it in the am and by lunch drank a coke and took 2 advil to lessen the headache. I was moody (when aren't I?) and had hot flashes, especially at night. I am glad your dr has started you on progesterone... If you have questions, feel free to ask
