Borax vs. Oxiclean
While reading posts, I noticed that a lot of people added one or the other to the wash. I thought I would get some for things like white sheets and our (colored) towels. Is one better than the other? Do I need both as they do "different" things?

I did notice that!
But, I would spend more if it works better.
i don't find either one necessary, but i have used both.
oxiclean worked fine, still found spot-treating necessary for most stains.
borax pretty much worked the same, but made me super-itchy, and i developed a rash, so i wouldn't recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin.
