Prayers...this time for my munchkin
Had Riley's 6 month check-up today. She's doing fantastic on all fronts...but her pediatrician is concerned that her skull sutures may have closed early. This basically means that her brain wouldn't have any room left to grow. We took her to the hospital to get an X-ray of her skull. If everything looks good, we're in the clear. If the x-ray is even a little bit questionable we'll have to get a CT. If the sutures have closed the only treatment is surgery to remove part of her skull to allow her brain room to grow. I actually do have a friend at work who has a daughter with this condition, so if it comes down to it I have someone I can talk to. But please please say a little prayer that that Xray comes back clear as a bell...
