I'm going to sit and vent to you all for a moment...I'm terrifically frustrated right now.
In the space of one week, I have gotten 2 tickets: one speeding ticket for ten over because I wasn't paying attention and chose to not pay attention at a bad time to the tune of $119, and today, a friggin' parking ticket for $30. I'm appealing this one because I'm pretty sure it's an error on their end, but STILL. The fact that I basically burned $119 makes me crazy enough, and this idea of extra $30 is about to just kick me right over the edge. I can't get it to stop needling at me.
I guess the silver lining is that I seriously just do not have the personality to get myself into any consumer debt. I'd be in a padded room in two shakes of a lamb's tail if I'm this worked up and fussy over tickets, one of which I don't even think I'm responsible for.

Ugh. My first speeding ticket [and my only so far, knock on wood] was me speeding through a school zone...the lights flipped on after I drove past the signs, I was going the original speed limit [which is 10 over the school zone speed limit], and a hag of a cop pulled me over. I was so mad about it.
I hope the parking ticket gets revoked!!
That sucks about the speeding ticket. I got one a couple years ago on my way to work and I hate them. Don't even get me started on parking tickets and the meter people downtown....I say fight that one just because.
BTW, I LOVE that you used one of my favorite phrases "two shakes of a lamb's tail".
