Three years!! ????
Three years ago was the best wedding day ev-er! :-) The weather was perfect, everything went smoothly, we had great food and dancing surrounded by family and friends....it was awesome. And now three wonderful years has FLOWN by!
And this means today is the 10 year anniversary of our first date :-) I'm 29 so that means I've been with DH for 1/3 of my life! Crazy!!!
We're heading to Duluth after work tonight for a couple of days. Cannot wait.

We're not staying at a B&B. We're on a tight budget and found a great 'mid-week' deal at a nice place about 3 miles from downtown. B&Bs are pricey dude. :-( We are going on a tour of Glensheen Mansion tomorrow morning and then DH wants to explore the Canal Park area since he's never been up there. I also foresee some relaxing in our room because we have a whirlpool, a FP, and a big balcony overlooking Lake Superior!! BLISS!!! :-) Our hotel has bikes to borrow and they do a nightly bonfire on the beach so I'm pumped for a s'more or 2 or 10. :-)
Happy Anniversary!! You trip to Duluth sounds wonderful! Randy and I always walk down on the boardwalk and in Canal Park and talk about what a great place it would be to stay for a long weekend, but since we live here...it really wouldn't make sense!
I don't know if you're staying in Canal Park, but we always talk about how it is so cool that the hotels have "back yards" right on the lake! This summer there were always a lot of hotel guests playing catch and just hanging out back there....it's just so cool and unlike any other place I can think of! Anyways, there's my little plug for everyone! Have FUN!!

The place we're staying is on the "lake walk" about 3 miles from Canal Park. I want to borrow bikes and ride in if it's not too cold. They are saying a high of 50 tomorrow - brr! I packed mittens and a hat because I'm a freezey cat!
(It's funny how our perspective changes...in February I'll be aching for a 50 degree day!!!)
Gotcha! I don't know if it's because it's consistently been in the 50's up here, but it was 50 when I left for work this morning, and I thought it felt warmish! I think tomorrow is supposed to be a little bit colder.... but it might be ok for bikes. The ride to Canal Park would be super fast since you are right on the lake walk, but I would definitely bring your hat and mittens!
