Even though I wore purple yesterday I work a different sweater today so that I could wear it again.
I hope those kids or adults who are having a hard time and not willing to talk about it yet see a sea of purple today.

Evan James was born 1/24/13 and matched with us 2/20/13. The LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
I'm wearing a light purple shirt (only purple shirt I own that's ok for work), bright pinky-purple socks, and a grape colored scarf (with my jacket) today!
It makes me sad that it even comes down to this. It does get better, our LGTB friends, and eventually the whole world will learn to love, respect and honor you as we wish for ourselves.

I haven't noticed any students wearing purple on the St. Paul campus of the U today... Kinda sad--I thought maybe it'd be a bigger deal here among the "youth". Maybe it wasn't promoted widely enough.
Oh--I just saw someone wearing purple outside my office window--of course, it was her jacket and backpack that were purple, so that might just be an every-day thing.

I didn't wear purple outside, because I don't have any. I wore a dark blue and purple underwear.
Two of my co-workers came out officially today at staff development, after we watched "Bullied" which is the story of Jamie Nabozsny, who sued his school for not being protected against physical and sexual harassment that occurred because of his sexuality. It was an intense day.
