Speaking of packages

I never reported back about the Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson premiere!
Cali's "software package" reminded me of one of the lines from the show where the lead guy jumped off stage and rubed his groin in one of the audience members face saying, "Would you like to see my stimulus package?"

Dudes, the show was fantastic!! It was so funny, so hip... so with it. I really got caught up in the energy.  The set design was unreal, the whole theatre was drapped in red Christmas lights and dead animals and pelts.  There was even a full size horse hog tied and hanging upside down over the audience. The cast was really great, so funny.  We had center 2nd row seats and really got to see everything - hell, I was even spit on. Awesome.

The after party was really cool too. I got to meets lots of famous people. Pete's aunt introduced us to a lot of her friends...  I got to meet Margaret Colin, Andrew McCarthy, Liev Schreiber (Naomi Watts was there too but I didn't get to meet her), Meryl Streep's daughter Mamie Gummer is engaged to the lead actor, Ben Walker. I didn't get to meet her, but she looked amazing. So tiny and put together...  I also got to meet a bunch of Broadway actors, I had no idea who they were. There were lots of, "You were amazing! NO! You were amazing!! NO!! You were fantastic!"'s floating around...   It was all very cool.

So, Hezzer says if you get a chance to see the show - DO IT! It was really fun.

Re: Speaking of packages

  • I am so jealous you met Andrew McCarthy.  Was he cute in person?

  • It sounds like a fun show!  My Broadway show requirements are spit and groin rubbing, so I will definitely see it if I get the chance.

  • Dog, he's really old and rough looking now.
Here's a picture from the after party...

He's pretty quiet and soft spoken.

  • I'd still do him.

glad you had a great time, looks like it was a once in a lifetime experience.
