For all the ladies who are already expecting...

I know that we have discussed Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags on here before.  Well once a season they have their outlet sale where you can save 40-70% off of discontinued patterns and "certified seconds".

The sale is currently going on now until the 27th from 9:00AM PST - midnight.  Just thought I might share the info with you.

PS... Pam... I know you're not expecting but thought you might be interested too!!! Wink

Here's the link...

  • I am only pausing to say THANK YOU! No I am not but I love them going to look now!!!

OMG I am going to totally beg for one when I get home! I know thats bad and I am not pregnant but hell even if I have to save it for a day when one of my girls gets pregnant I don't care I have to have one. Ok I think that sounded a bit crazy but totally excited

  • I'm not preggers, but OMG I can't believe those prices.  Super cute, though! I think one of my babysitting families has one of those.

my thoughts exactly. very cute though. I dream about having a kate spade diaper bag which is just as expensive lol.

  • I already have my Coach diaper bag all picked out, although I saw a gorgeous Kate Spade one today that I love...so my mind may change before I get pregnant.

    Those are cute though!

    yesssssss!

  • Very cute! Unfortunately there is no way I could afford one, let alone justify paying that much for a diaper bag.

See, this is where I can justify an expensive bag.  I mean, I already have a few Coach bags that I use allllll the time so they were worth the investment.  And if you think about it, a diaper bag gets used from birth to at least 2 years old, and if you're planning on having more than one kid (we'd like 3, maybe even 4), it will get used for maybe 10 years!  Eeep!

So in that case, I will definitely need a bag that is classic, functional AND beautiful - something that is going to stand the test of time.

Which is exactly how I'm going to justify it to Dave to maybe get a Kate Spade :)

  • This shows how much I don't know about babies, but is there a reason that you need a diaper bag that was designed as such? I'd really prefer to get a regular ol' backpack when the time comes.
  • Kelly - a lot of people share that mindset and just go with the backpack (which DH can easily use as well since it's not an obviously girly bag and also is easy to sling over your back and not some huge bag you need to tote around).

I'm not sure if I'll invest in a Diaper Bag. I have tote bags I could use and we also have a backpack...either one would work for me, I'm thinking. Who knows. It won't be anything I'd buy until after the baby arrived so I could see what my actual needs end up being...but to each her own!

    (Why did someone 2-star this?)

The Bump ate my signature. DD - Apr 2011 DS - expected June 2013
