I need ideas!?!?
We are exchanging with DH's family mid November so I need to get moving. He is the only one I have NO IDEA what to get.
My in-laws live in a very LCOL area so big flashy things aren't good. He is pretty simple and probably will like anything, but I hate just buying something to buy something. Help!
Re: FIL Holiday Gift
Is he handy? I know this doesn't sound like a gift, but my dad thinks the best gift is a big bucket from a home improvement store filled with all the little things they keep at the checkout: batteries, duct tape, super kinds of glue, carpenter pencils, flashlights/multi-tools/gadgets - it's usually stuff that he uses a lot and gets used up.
He likes fishing and going to Walmart.
He likes the outdoors and pretty simple things.
I got him a walmart GC last year, but I don't want to repeat again.
Is there a Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop near you? I would go there and talk to someone in the fishing section.

Saltwater or Freshwater fishing?
My dad's a fisherman, so I'm a pro at fishing gifts.
Get him a hand held fish weighing scale.
I got my dad one last year and he loved it.
