XP: Jim Thorpe, PA?
Hey ladies. Was hoping you could help me with a spur of the moment weekend getaway H and I are planning.I'm looking for some info on Jim Thorpe, PA or the surrounding area. We'd probably like to do some hiking or whitewater rafting or something else outdoors, then have a nice dinner somewhere.I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on other things to do, places to stay or places to eat? Any info at all would be great!

My parents took my sister and I here when we were younger. I know they had an awesome fall foliage steam locomotive ride out through the countryside. It was pretty neat. Old locomotive, beautiful colors, and Jim Thorpe has a bunch of neat old mansions.
