Speaking of steam cleaners...
...I need a good steam mop. I'm about to move into a house with all hardwood floors and I want a really good steam mop to clean with. Recommendations?
Re: Speaking of steam cleaners...
This question is asked all the time, so you probably won't get many responses. Here's my standard answer for the steam mop question:
There are two really good comparative reviews of all available steam mops on amazon (link below). They're really long (too long to effectively post here), but it's worth it to read through.

You'll want to read the reviews by A. Chandler and K. Stankovich

I used the Shark, and it's good for small areas, but it's a pain for big areas. The problem that I have with steam mops is that they all use those cloths to pick up dirt. They get so dirty so fast, and I feel like even though I'm using steam I'm just rubbing in dirt, and constantly changing the pads on them.
So I got the Hover floor scrubber. I love this thing! It scrubs the floors with hot water, and then vacuums it up dry. I don't like using harsh chemicals so I use vinegar to sanitize, but I'm sure you can use any floor cleaner with it. I also like that it doesn't make the floors look dull like the steam mops have.
You can find it here. http://www.amazon.com/Hoover-Remanufactured-FloorMate-Hard-Floor-H3040RM/dp/B002G9UQZM/ref=pd_sbs_k_3
Also note that chances are your going to have to sweep the floors before you use a steam mop, or a floor cleaner of any kinda. A little stick vacuum works perfect!
