Well, we've got the heat back on. It was so simple. Two of the pins on the back of the themostat were bent. Luckily I caught it myself, so while I did feel like a bit of a dolt, we didn't have to call in the furnace guy.
However, the furnace guy may be able to hook us up with a gas fireplace on the cheap. Woo.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Good morning.
Russ finally made it home last night so I know I have a busy week ahead of me. We both put our backs out within days of each other so it's going to be some slow moving for a few days.
Buenos dias! Not too shabby today--last night I had a very fun Skype conversation with my family, with my little brother joining in unexpectedly. I was cracking up, they're hilarious. Kinda miss 'em.
Today's probably another quiet day at the office. I'm going to sneak away at lunch so I can finish my book and get my eyebrows threaded. It's an off night from the gym, so hopefully I can start another book and go to bed at a reasonable hour.
Ouch! It almost makes my glad for my non-existent eyebrows.

I'm entering into my last couple days of teaching drama right now. I loooove drama weeks. Not only is it fun, it's just so relaxing for me. I get to catch up on my marking!
I'm also going to see if I can slip away early (I have a last period prep today!). A friend is coming over for our weekly dinner cooking sessions, and I've got to pick up some groceries for the maple cranberry pear compote. She's vegan, so I need to track down some coconut ice cream too!

G'day!
I actually have a free evening tonight - YAY! The past few weeks have been crazy and my "do-nothing" weekend is pretty much shot now. Not only did I sign up for the 5k (which I was fine with - it's in the morning so I figured that it would still leave me the rest of the weekend free), but I also got roped into filling in for a friend's spot in her choir, and having lunch with the ILs.
At least this will make my next attempt at a do-nothing weekend (in a couple of weeks) that much sweeter.

Morning ladies.
Busy day at work for me. I have my first weigh in at WW today. I am looking forward to it. I am finally feeling better (yay for Z-packs) and will be heading to Zumba tonight. I can't wait because I was sad I didn't make it Tuesday. I did however go for a walk with the boys yesterday to at least get something small in.
I am also excited because I finally figured out how to post with my i-phone! No more lurking in the evenings, I can actually post now.

Good morning, Ladies! Busy day at work. Actually, it's going to be very busy up until Thanksgiving. But on a brighter note, Cheddar is feeling better today. He had quite a fever going yesterday, and the vet says he has some kind of infection. Poor baby. He got a big shot of antibiotics and lots of snuggling last night.
