Re: Is it possible to have

  • If you're worried about it, go get an at home UTI test kit from wal-mart or cvs or some such place with a pharmacy. You just pee on a stick and based on the color you either have one, don't have one, or should go to the doctor to see if you have one bad enough to treat.
  • I'm sure it is, but (not being snarky) what makes you think its a uti if you have no symptoms?

  • Apparently it is, at my last dr appt for my physical they said that I had a UTI.  I had no symptoms, so maybe it was just starting.

But if you don't have any symptoms, why do you think you have one?

  • Definatly.  I've had quite a few  that I didn't know about until a routine physical.  Apparently  sometimes they just don't show symtpoms.. if you're in the least bit concerned that you may have one, symptom or not I'd get checked out to be sure... Untreated UAs could lead to something more serious.
  • Yes it is possible. Please get this checked out ASAP. My sister gets them frequently with no symptoms. She has been hospitalized twice for a week both times b/c the infection got into her blood stream.
  • Yes, I get them often if I am not drinking enough water. I will only have maybe one out of the possible 5-10 symptoms. I take AZO urinary relief pill (get them at your local drug store) and then guzzle that water down and it is gone by the next day. But if they persist for over two days you need to go to the doctor to get an antibiotic. If you get them frequently I would get some cranberry pills and take one or two a day, the package says you can take way more but I don't.
