DH and I are looking for a new sushi restaurant to try. We live in the Brier Creek area, but it doesn't have to be super close by. We've tried Waraji, which was fine but it always seems to be closed when we stop by. Anyone have a place they love?

Re: Triangle sushi recs?
We really like Mizu, but it's in the Wakefield area, though if you take 540 to Capital, then head North it's not a bad distance. They usually have good specials. http://www.mizuhouse.com/
Also, Mura at N. Hills mall is good. They have buy one, get one 1/2 price rolls on Sunday, Tues and M-F from 2-5. :-) http://www.muranorthhills.com/
I like Tasu in Brier Creek. They do BOGO, but the pricing scheme is kind of a PITA. You can't split checks if you do the BOGO sushi and they charge you for the higher priced rolls. But, the sushi is good. They're owned by the same people that own Shiki in Durham but they are better food and service wise.
We also like Akashi in Durham. Good rolls, good service, really good prices.
Tasu is our favorite followed by Mura in North Hills.

Another vote for Mizu in Wakefield. They even have a sushi train!
We have also gone to Hayashi further down New Falls of Neuse (Food Lion shopping center) also in Wakefield. http://hayashijapaneserestaurant.com/
