Were any of you promised by email a free copy of The Nest Magazine as a gift from TK? I have yet to receive my copy.

I never read my e-mails from the knot of the nest, but I did get a Nest magazine last week. Did they promise it to everyone? I just thought it was weird they sent it, I guess it wouldn't be weird if I actually check my e-mail on occasion. You can have mine if you want it, I skimmed through it.

I was wondering the same thing Jody. I was looking forward to getting it. I did read that they just came out with a new issue so maybe they're sending that to us and they wanted to wait. We were also promised 2 I thought.

I don't think I got an email, but I tend to delete the TK/TN emails, but did get an issue of the magazine about 2 weeks ago.

Yes - I got mine, it's the Fall edition. My husband actually read it. Haha!

I didn't know we were getting one, but we got it last week. I was a little put off by the sex toys, though.

I got mine last week (I think) and didn't know why I had gotten it. I haven't had a chance to read it though...might do that tonight...

I never got an email about it, but I got TN magazine 2 - 3 weeks ago...I looked through it. And I was also put off by all the *different* sex toys they had in there...haha, it made me feel like I live a very sheltered life for not knowing what they were!

I received mine about 2-3 weeks ago, right after the wedding. I don't know if I got an email about whether I would get one or not. It was eh, not worth subscribing to. And I agree with Laura - wtf at the sex toys?

The Nest magazine is supposed to have stuff to help you set up your home and also I guess to spice up your marriage. So there are decorating ideas, recipes, tips for cooking, entertaining, and keeping an organized house, etc. Most of it just seemed like pushing specific products to me, so I didn't find it all that useful. There are also a few mini articles that are stories from other newlyweds, some humorous and some informational. And, there are quite a few things about keeping your sex life spicy, including sex toys, which weirded me out. I don't need to see dildos next to casserole recipes.

I got the email, but no magazine... but since they don't send anything to Canada I'm not surprised. Same as with TK, I got emails saying they'd send something to me but they never did. Annoying that they can't properly filter their notifications - they do have my address!

LOL. Big Smile I guess it's pretty much like TK magazines, then. Not a lot of help, just anecdotal stories and product pushing. Meh. Guess I'm not missing much.

Now that I think of it - I don't think I ever changed my address with TK when we moved. Whoever is now living in my old apartment is probably enjoying the dildo article. Stick out tongue

So, that's odd, some of us received it, some of us didn't, despite the promise to everyone. Maybe I'll email TK about it.
