When buying food, do you put organic/natural before local or vice versa. Are you willing to support local if it isn't organic or does it have to be both?
Re: What's your opinion?
Local first (and for us, that means local businesses like Ken's Fruit Market that sell non-local items, too) and organic when possible or more desirable (celery, for example).

I try to shop local.
Being in vegas, that's next to impossible. I do get 'local' produce if I'm visiting my mom in utah.
I get a lot of produce from a co-op, that although doesn't stress local buying, they stress buying from the 'mom and pop' farmers instead of big companies. They offer an organic box some weeks, but I don't buy it.
I started preserving my produce, by blanching and freezing, or by canning.
Local is my first priority.
I try to do organic for "dirty dozen" items, but I'm not too strict about it. Still, the chemicals used on a lot of our produce really scare me, so I have been buying more and more organic.
For meat and eggs, I also focus on free-range whenever possible.
