Maybe I'm a fuddy dud, but I think Davis would enjoy it much more in a year or two. And while we did enjoy ourselves but it wasn't all that I thought it would be I guess, haha. They only have 10 stations set up at Little Boo just as an FYI, so you basically get 10 pieces of candy and pay $5 for it. They do have a few bounce houses set up you can use too if you pay the $5. I'm not sure what the cost was for non-members. If you don't pay the fee you can still walk around the area they have set up, you just cannot collect candy or jump in the bouncy things. If I had it to do over, I would have not paid the $5, swished around the trick or treat area a few minutes and just gone to look at animals. I ended up just looking at animals after about 5 stations, Davis was totally over it by then.
The weather ended up being not so bad since the sun was out.
Have fun tomorrow!!! But def dress your LO in a few extra layers that are easy to remove in case it warms up later. When we left it started raining.
Oh and whatever you do, don't let your child touch any pumpkin with paint, the paint is really weird and on every single one it was melting off, kids were touching them and getting paint all over the place. My friends daughter touched one and it was all over her, her costume, big mess.
Re: My Boo at the Zoo review
I was not going to pay it and my friend talked me into it, LOL. But yeah, he doesn't eat candy so it really wasn't worth the $5, not that $5 is a lot, but I just wanted whoever is going tomorrow to know you can still walk around the area and not pay the $$$$. I know it is more for non members.
I honestly wish I had gone with my mom or husband, it would have been a lot more fun for Davis becaue there would have been 2 of us and we would have had no issue letting him walk around from station to station, but when it is just me, he is too much to handle, he doesn't listen and runs off, the stress is too much for me.
