Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! I don't know about everyone else but this week seemed to take forever. Any fun plans for the weekend?

Re: Happy Friday!

  • This week was long, even though I only had to work 4 days. I'm super happy it's Friday.

H and I are going to a Highland Games and Celtic Festival tomorrow. I've wanted to go for years, but the weather was always pretty crappy, but tomorrow it's supposed to be 75 and sunny. Perfect. I'm also maybe meeting a girl from theknot, so that should be fun; my first GTG.

  • Happy Friday right back :-))

As a matter of fact, yes! I am meeting with my besties (aka my entire bridal party of 4) for dinner and drinks Saturday night and I am so looking forward to it!!!

Sunday - some housework and then football...but then, the weather is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend (yet again!!!), so H and I may do something outdoorsy...we'll see, but it should be fun either way :-)

  • Happy Friday!  Yes, it felt like a long week, and today is going to be a long day at work  :P

Tonight the gym, and I am such a dork, but I am totally looking forward to the workout kus it involves handstands, and I love handstands (even if I have to do 45 handstand push ups.  My arms will be feeling that tomorrow).  Then a friend is having a girls night at her place tonight, so that should be a lot of fun!

Tomorrow probably some Georgia Tech football watching with the alumni around here, and then a Gala.  DH's boss invited us to this black tie gala, so I am kind of excited to get all dressed up!

Sunday, errands, laundry, homework, and other chores.

  • TGIF! It's the usual Saturday errands for me, however I am also getting a massage tomorrow morning!!!! :) After that just chilling at home and watching football, going to a fundraiser spaghetti dinner for a local child with Huntington's and maybe karaoke with brother in law & his GF and whoever else wants to join us. Sunday Mike wants to start shopping for Amanda's Christmas stuff.

  • Those sound like some fun plans! Tomorrow I am going to visit my cousin and see how he is recovering. Sunday DH has his first Sunday off since August, so we are going to veg out and eat junk food and watch his Patriots (my Cowboys aren't playing until Sunday night).

I am going to try another sewing project (I'm thinking an apron?), do some shopping, and get my Halloween Treat in the mail to my secret ghost!

  • Yay for Fridays!

Tonight and tomorrow morning, I will be cleaning the house. Saturday late afternoon/evening, we are having family and friends over to celebrate DH's b-day (and watch the Aggies play...oh I hope they win so I don't have to hear the Aggie fans complain all night)...

Sunday, DH and I are doing nothing!

  • Yay, this week felt about a month long, and I didn't even work on Monday!

Tonight I have yet another 40th bday party to attend for a friend of DH's, I feel like we have one every weekend already. But a lot of our friends are going so it should be fun!

Tomorrow is a day I have been looking forward to for many months. I am finally doing my long-awaited post-wedding chop. I'm taking about 9 inches off my hair and donating it. So excited to get rid of this mass of hair I have now!

Sunday we are doing step 2 in our wine-making process. We did the initial crushing last week, I think this week we are filtering it or something, I'm not sure. Then we let it ferment for several months, go back in June to bottle it and will have 24 cases of wine to split with our friends.

Holy cow!  You go girl!  That sounds intense!

@AlmostLoCO: Good luck with the post-wedding chop!  Definitely want to see pictures, I'm not brave enough yet to chop off my wedding-length hair!

We're going to a show tomorrow night, which should be awesome!  Other than that, we have NO plans, we'll see what happens!  Happy Friday!

This!!  I want to see.  I miss my hair so much!  If only the stylist would have listened to what I wanted...grrr..

    Tonight I'm going fabric shopping.

Tomorrow will be lots of housework, finishing up the garage, cleaning, etc etc

Sunday will be church, peeling the crap load of apples from our tree, watching the Packers kick Farve's a$$ and hopefully getting some downtime to celebrate our 6 monthiversary.

The weather is supposed to be cold and rainy this weekend so time to get some stuff finished inside!

  • Sounds like we all have pretty busy schedules! I will not be doing much likely- I was out of work 3.5 days this week feeling like crap. Good news is I think I hit my peak yesterday and am feeling better (not good enough to work though). I did knit a cute hat and am sewing together my pieces for the sweater I'm making my baby niece- I will have to post pics when it's all done! I will probably do some more knitting projects while I'm laying low, and instructing DH to do some laundry :-)

And of course, GO PHILS! We'll be watching all the local sporting games.

  • Wow I had such an exhausting week - it was awful.  I'm so glad it's Friday!!

Tonight - The in-laws are coming over for pizza and I have clean the house for company tomorrow (but I'm too tired for any of the above)

Tomorrow - Having about 30 ppl over (all of my crazy cousins and their kids) to the house for the first time.  We're having brunch and then going pumpkin picking!  Tomorrow night, I'm going to collapse on the couch.

Sunday - I need to catch up on some errands, including buying a new GPS (mine died and I NEED it to do my job - I'm always in the car this time of year).  I also am finishing up my job applications and resumes for some new jobs.  Fingers crossed!!!!!

    Happy weekend girls!

  • Happy Friday girls!

Tonight DH are having dinner at home and spending some much needed QT together.

Tomorrow is my alma mater's homecoming.  If it's not raining, we are planning on going to the parade and football game.  Then we are going to visit both sets of parents.

Sunday it's supposed to rain, but we may go to the Sceince Center for a show DH wants to see.  Otherwise it will be laundry and enjoying each others company since we haven't really seen each other lately.
