Re: Good morning!
I've never been able to make bacon well. I always either burn it, or it ends up being underdone. But last night, I discovered the beauty of cooking bacon in the oven. It came out perfectly...and was so yummy!!! I was excited.
We went to hang out with some friends last night. They provided the pizza dough, sauce, and cheese, and they "assigned" each of their guests different toppings to bring (I brought bacon), and then we all helped make a bunch of different pizzas. Then the boys played Xbox while the girls played a card game. It was a good night!
I don't think we have any plans tonight except to hang out at home and relax together.

It's actually kind of quite at work today, but that's because we are oversold on every network thanks to all the political ads, so until Nov 2nd, we really can't put new orders in. So I think there is a silver lining in there somewhere....
No big plans for this weekend. Hopefully watch the Phillies win!!! DH has to work tomorrow so I'll probably do something crafy at home. Check out my blog (link in siggy) to see what I made my girls at work last week.

I'm off work today b/c we had parent-teacher conferences Tues and Thurs nights. The school board approved next year's calendar last night, and all of the teachers and parents are very upset. Teachers go back August 1st and kids start the 8th! That is 2-3 weeks earlier than everyone else around here. We have had year round school at the elementary level since 1970 and they voted to end that too. The district has to find a way to save 6 million dollars next year b/c that's how much less govt money we will receive next year. Changing the schedule only saves 1 million, so it will be interesting to see what they do to save the other 5 million.
John is working security at the Mizzou-OU game tomorrow. Even though he hates Mizzou, he is excited to have the opportunity to be at the game.

Today, DH is booking a birthday dinner for himself for his guys night/30th birthday. I have to clean the house, MIL is coming on Sunday.
