How was your vacation? Did you like the resort?
Re: ***pourroni***
It was great. Dreams Puerto Aventuras was amazing. It was nice and intimate. The resort was small (incomparsion to some we saw and flew over) with 5 ala carte restaurants and 1 buffet. Drinks (top shelf alcohol) and 24 hour room service was also included. The food was good, not great. We had went on a cruise back in January and that good was AMAZING so this food just didn't quite compare in my opinion.
We were in a gated community and our resort was also gated so it felt very safe.
There was free snorkleing, kayaking, catamaran and other activties. The reef right off of the beach was incredible so no need to purchase a snorkel excursion. Puerto Aventuras (the gated community) had a large marian was dolphins, manatees, seals, and sting rays. We swam with the dolphins. It was so incredible and definately worth the price. We went to a local cenote (under ground river and cave system that the Mayans considered sacred) that was really cool to snorkel and dive into.
If anybody is planning a Mexican vacation I would recommend this particular resort for sure. We would definately return.
