Good luck on your 5k tomorrow! What a good idea to treat it as one of the C25K workouts. I don't know why I never thought of that before. I started but only got to W4 a few months ago and want to start back up. How are you liking it?

Good luck!
Thank you!
I'm really liking it so far. It's getting harder to motivate myself to go out as it's getting colder (yesterday was 6C / 43F), and also the sun is setting earlier. But I also feel so awesome and proud of myself at the end of each run, and that feeling is totally worth the pain.
I think I will reward myself after tomorrow's race for some cold-weather appropriate running clothes. Fortunately, the giveaway at tomorrow's race is supposed to be a pair of running gloves - yay!
Tobi mentioned that she had read somewhere that people who make it through w5 are more likely to stick with running in general. I'm determined to stick this through!

That's interesting. W4D2 I ran in the middle of the afternoon on the beach (way different than my normal early morning on the road) and it totally turned me off of running before I got any further.
Have fun tomorrow!
