I was driving home last night and passed by a house that had their X-mas lights up. I looked to DH and was like, isn't it a little too early to start with the X-mas decorations?
Don't get me wrong, I love X-mas as much as the next person but isn't it a little too early for the decoration?
If you're guilty of this please confess...lol!

Re: Too early for X-mas?
H decorates for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas so I'm good with this new tradition.
But holy hockeystickers, its OCTOBER! Halloween hasn't even happen yet, I'm no where near ready for Christmas stuff. Its bad enough that the stuff is already in the stores.

TOO EARLY!
Post-Thanksgiving only.
Post Thanksgiving, sure. Post Halloween, maybe. But October? Ridiculous.
Although my sister works at Kohl's and she says they've already set for Christmas.. as have most stores from what I've seen. It gets more & more premature every year.

The morning of the wedding, DH went to the mall to get a shave. He texted me to say Sears already had Christmas stuff out.
My sister has admitted to playing the Christmas music in her store early - mostly because they want to know what songs are in the mix this year. They've also been known to switch it out for regular music if they get sick of the Christmas stuff in December though.
As a fan of Halloween, I think October is way too early to start for Christmas.
