Woohoo.

I'm leaving for my weekend in T-minus 3 hours!

Re: !!!! Friday !!!!

  • How did you manage that one? LOL

  • Well I'm at work today.  At least I'm not achey.  I do still have a bit of a cough and a soar throat though.  I'm going to drink tea and water like it's my job.  I need to get over this!  Ugh.

  • I so don't want to be at work today. Can't wait for the weekend!

Glad you aren't achey anymore!  Hope the tea and water cures you in time for the weekend.

  • I've been shedding like a mad woman lately.  Crazy.  I thought if I was going to lose hair, it would be a lot earlier than 9 months pp.  Crazy crazy crazy how long your body takes to *really* recover from a pregnancy/birth.
  • My SIL is coming over so we can start to watch the last season of The Tudors on DVD tonight. We've been waiting for so long.

I watched the first 3 (? I think it was 3) season while I was on maternity leave.  I want to watch the rest!!!!  My mom got us a 2 month subscription to Netflix for Christmas and I totally took advantage while baby T was sleeping.  :)

  • I need to learn how to be nice while telling someone they are doing something wrong.  Angel  I am usually just a b!tch.

H just sent me a video of T playing in the bath.  (Which was adorable, BTW  Stick out tongue)  But I am not comfortable with the amount of water in the bathtub.  (It was a little past his belly button when sitting - I don't feel comfortable with it being more than a few inches high.)  I feel like I always nag him about everything that he does wrong (which seems to happen a lot...haha.)

I said:  Adorable!  Thanks for sending.  :)  PS.  There is too much water in the tub for a 9 month old - watch him very close!  xoxo

Was that nice?  Do you think he got the point without me sounding like a nag or b!tch?   My normal response would be "WTF!  Are you an idiot!  He's going to drown.  You don't know how to do anything!  Empty the tub to a few inches of water.  Geez!"

I'm working really, really hard on becoming more mature and acting more like an adult without freaking out about everything.

I'm trying to do the same thing.

I'm finding that I'm nice so much of the time, that when I have to tell someone what to do, it's sounds bitchy, because I'm usually soooo nice.

  • Phew. My job went from mind numbingly boring to crazy busy and involving lots of "windshield time" driving around the state. I am really happy to have a job though.

I would LOVE to get some windshield time every now and then! Crank up the music and just cruise, not having to worry about anyone interrupting or bothering me...nice. I know you don't like your job, but I imagine it's probably better to be busy and not thinking about how much you hate it, instead of the other way around.

  • Brr it's cold. I think boss still  has the ac on. Ugh lol

  • Chymes, I actually hate my job a lot less now. My role is in te process of a changing, so that makes ms happy. I also really love the drive time itself (although at this time of year I am a little nervous about collisions with deer). It is the 11-12 hour workdays and nights away from home that are less lovable.
