Hey, I read your post back in July about the brazilian blowout. You described your hair, and it is very similar to mine. So, how were the results?
I have 3 curl patterns as well, thick, course hair. Prone to frizz especially if I don't put tons of product on it while it's wet.
Re: ****jenirvt****come in please
I just got my 2nd Brazilian Blowout on 10/6...verdict = LOVE. I LOVE IT. I don't think I can ever go back to my natural hair texture again!!!
The BBO made it completely frizz free, super soft, really shiny. If I let it air dry, it's the slightest bit wavy, but with just the blowdrier and my fingers, I can get it dry and completely straight in about 6 minutes. It is, to me, absolutely worth every penny...I do not put ANY product in it most days...occasionally I'll put the BBO serum (which is more like a cream) in it if I'm going out and want super sleek, super shiny hair (a dime-size dallop is PLENTY. I'll have that bottle forever! My stylist doesn't have a BBO but she told me that she loves the serum so much, she uses it in her hair every day). It's straight and smooth but still has body so it's not flat. I have not had one single bad hair day since I got the first one!
I My hair right now is to my shoulders and is mostly all one length, with a little layering in the front and ends. For me the frizz/curl free effect lasted about 12 weeks. I noticed that I started getting a little "halo" of frizz at my crown, and if it air-dried it was a lot wavier. However it was no where near as insane as my natural hair texture. They say the more you do it, the better/longer-lasting the results, so we will see!

I have some of my most recent, but they aren't online so I can't get them from my work computer...I will post later at home. But basically, my hair still looks like pic #2, just longer now and a darker color with darker highlights.
I go to Ahava, downtown on St. Clair. They start at $99 and go to $200 max, no higher. Mine is $120 for my length. Here are more before/after pics of my last one...not nearly as dramatic, though.
Before: 15 weeks after the first one...still pretty straight with just blowdrying, but it is getting a little wavier and there are a little bit of frizzies starting to pop up at the very crown...nothing you can really notice unless I pointed it out, though...
After - TONS shinier and the waves that were coming back are GONE.....yay! (sorry for the slightly evil look I have here...):
