    Oh man, I suck at coming up with lists of things that I want.  DH and I decided that we are going to buy ourselves a new tv and that will be our Christmas gift to each other.  I feel like my list for my family is going to include a lot of gift cards to Barnes and Noble, gc for work clothes, a hemnes dresser from IKEA, and decorative items for around the house.  I can't really think of anything that isn't practical this year, but I'm sure that my list will start growing soon after the ads start coming out.

    Some jewelry from a few Etsy shops I love, a navy blue dress to wear for NYE (I don't know why I want navy blue, I just do) and new tires for DH's car (that's a NEED from both of us). 

     So a few fun things and a not so fun thing.

    Our new house is straight out of the 80's and we want to do tons of stuff with it, so I think we'll ask for Lowe's gift cards!

    All I really want is home decor stuff.  Gift cards to Pier One or Ikea.  We really need a new vacuum and mattress, but I think those will wait till J gets home.

    This year instead of getting gifts from my dad and stepmom, we have asked for the gift of time.  My dad is going to come out the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve and help us with projects around the house.  He's a handy guy.  We would like to update our bedroom while he his here.  I am feeling pretty smart for coming up with this one.  Big Smile He only comes out to visit about once a year and would like to help us with house projects.  It will be nice to have him here too since he can visit with my brother as well.  My mom is going to buy us bedding or a dresser for our remodeled bedroom.

    Gift certificates for the St. Kate's bookstore. I start the nursing program in January and have a million dollars worth of books and supplies to buy. Well maybe not that much, but close. :)

    We're not doing gifts this year, because my whole family (H, Mom, IL's) are all going to Mexico for Christmas.
