Now I want a baby
Dave and I babysat last night for good friends of ours. They have a 22 month old little boy, and a 4 month old baby girl. We babysat from 4:30pm until 1:00am.
It was basically the best night of my life. The kids were angels, and Dave was SO amazing. He was so hands on...I kind of thought we'd get there and he would sit back and watch tv and let me do all the work, but that wasn't the case at all. He had one (or both of them) in his arms pretty much the whole time. He fed the baby, burped her...she fell asleep on him, he was the one to put her in her crib. (I did the diaper changing, but he probably would have if they'd both needed a new one at the same time).
He was sooooooooooo great. And they were so great. And now all I want is to procreate. Dammit.

We were talking the other night about how we're not always 100% sure that we want kids at all. I know that we're going to have kids, barring some sort of fertility issue... we just both have our moments of doubt.
I saw that adorable picture you posted on facebook! Too sweet! DH and I are going to do a whole weekend (Thursday - Sunday) of housesitting/babysitting in a few weeks. It's a family with 2 kids that I babysit for every Saturday night. The little boy is 5 and the little girl is 3, so I'm interested to see how involved DH will be in playing with them, hold their hands as we walk through parking lots, putting them to bed, etc.
Just remember they aren't always angels, though.
Well you know how I felt about the picture... I told you as much on FB. It was STINKIN cute!!!! I feel that way when Kevin is with our nephew (he's 2 now).
I ask everyday... "can we have a baby now?"
