Update: Help me pick a gray belt!
Some of you might remember me whining about a sweater dress I bought that didn't fit right. I got a wide belt, and now I like it - though this picture is pretty unflattering since I had to use the self-timer and the camera is kind of pointing upward, plus there's darkness behind me so I look waist-less. But regardless, I think it looks good and that's not what my question is. Which boots do you think look better, the black or the gray? I was thinking the gray kind of broke up the all-black look a little, and I like that they're taller. The strappy detail on the black makes them a little more casual, but they might 'go' better with the outfit, IDK.
I also have some off-white tights I could wear instead. So help me out!

I really like the dress. Very cute! And belt does a great job of sinching in the waist. The strappy boots may be a bit overwhelming though.

Ok, when I get home, I'm going to take more pics - all black, all gray, in both pairs of tights. I know it's kind of hard to tell without the full look, but I had the damndest time figuring out Jeff's camera (mine doesn't have a timer...that I know of) and I kept not being in the shot. I'll just have him take the pictures!
Edit: I'm wearing this to a date night with Jeff this weekend, I think.

I like the grey boots, but I think you need a grey belt to tie them in a bit better. Your belt looks black??? Also, did you try solid black tights? I can't see the poll options while I'm typing this.
I know...I'm no use.
No white tights. I think make EVERYONE'S legs look heavier and lumpy.

I like the black on black, but that's probably because I can see it right in front of me. Love those gray boots, I just feel like the grayscale needs to be tied into the outfit somewhere.

What do you think? I think the gray on the one you posted is a smidge darker/more brownish than my boots. If that matters?
