running out of time!

so DH and I have a halloween party next weekend and we still don't have our costumes, nor do we know what to do! We are trying to make them ourselves and save some money but we can't come up with anything!!!

Hes thinking of doing crocodile hunter and me be an animal..but idk how I could make an animal costume. Any ideas?? or any other couple costume ideas?? I'm worried we won't come up with any haha

We're big Ohio State fans here in Columbus, so DH is going to be Jim Tressel, the Buckeye's coach and I'm going to be a football player. I'm sure there's a TX equivalent!

DH isn't into sports otherwise that would totally work. He wants it to be something 'creative' and something that we would do, which makes it harder haha. Ugh!! I dislike couple costumes sometimes. I had a great idea for myself but it won't work for a couple costume haha.

Is he a gamer? We just went to a Halloween party last night and went as the white mage and black mage from the original Final Fantasy. We just needed white and black robes/cloaks and a witch hat.

One year DH & I went as each other. It would work if your careers have some type of uniform. DH is in the army, and at that time, I was a server. It was pretty funny bc he wore a blond wig and put a pillow on his bum to be more like me, lol! It's also super cheap since you already have the items.

If he's stuck on the crocodile hunter & animal thing, you could be a tiger fairly easily. Black (or white) pants & shirt, find some orange (like really orange tape) and make yourself some stripes. Paint your face, and you're done.

Haha! That's pretty funny and creative. I don't know if I would have the guts to pull it off though.

I know they sell animal costume ears and tails at a lot of halloween places for relatively cheap prices. You could grab some of those and pair them with sweats for a cheap costume along the croc hunter lines. I also found face paint for around 3 dollars at Target.

Yes DH is stuck on the crocodile hunter. I tried the tiger thing and he didn't like it b/c the crocodile hunter was primarily working with reptiles and not tigers and stuff like that. After researching for hours I finally found some ideas for face paint for a snake using fishnets which seems super easy and I think i'll just wear a metalicy silver dress haha. we'll see how it all turns out.

If DH wasn't so anal about everything being EXACTLY like the person or thing this would be soooo much easier haha
