PSA to Supreme Court nerds
I thought this piece was interesting. It's just a summary of a talk that Dahlia Lithwick gave. I'm a Dahlia Lithwick stalker, so I ate it up. But, she says some intereting things and I know there's a few of us here who are fascinated by the Court, so I thought I'd share.
Her thoughts on John Roberts are particularly interesting. I actually watched one of his DC Court of Appeals hearings and thought he was the most fair and unbiased of the three republican appointed judges hearing the case, so it was interesting to read her perception of how he's changed.
Enjoy!

I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
I was actually a supporter of the Roberts confirmation too. I unsubscribed to all my liberal listserves in protest when that was going on. I was NOT a fan of Alito at all, so the Roberts drama really p!ssed me off because I felt like the dems squandered all their good will opposing him. I think if they hadn't mounted a protest to Roberts, they could have kept Alito off and gotten someone a little more moderate. Now we have both, which sucks.
Very cool that your SIL spoke at the confirmation!!
