How was everyone's weekend? We went to my nephew's 2nd bday party yesterday and now I'm exhausted. No idea what to do with myself today! I got the house in order last week so now I think I just sit around and wait!!

My weekend was good. I got lots of snuggle time with Chase, even though he was super crabby Saturday. John worked security at the Mizzou game and had a great time, even though he hates Mizzou. He was on tv several times when touchdowns were scored. Yesterday was my mom's bday, so she came over for dinner.

we had a BUSY weekend...I feel like I need another day just to re coup.
Weekend was ok- so glad its over! DH's family was here and we celebrated MILs birthday. I made mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. MIL picked up fried chicken and biscuits (and ignored that DH told her I was making all of this food so she also bought gravy and brought mac and cheese) . And I made her birthday cake from scratch! German chocolate cake and I added ganache for garnish.
All they do is complain (I didnt have hot sauce, I dont keep straws in the house, honey, etc). Oh and they were 2 hours late. The thing that pissed me off the most was when MIL asked if I had been baptized, then when I told her no she made me feel like I was a bad person, and said I would go to hell. Ugh.

My weekend was good. My mom staied here all weekend. She wanted to get away from the drama at the restaurant for a few days. We went to a halloween festival on friday night, saturday I did a toy party and yesterday we did nothing!!! Friday and Saturday we did get snow crabs that were YUMMY!
I'm looking forward to this busy week ahead. So much going on!
