Another AW: My bunnies are famous!

Re: Another AW: My bunnies are famous!

  • Those guys are just to freaking cute.

  • Thanks, squesh! I think so too, but I'm slightly biased. When I saw their picture on Saturday morning I told DH, "It's official! I'm a stage mother!" LOL
  • How many pics did you take to get them so pose so well?
    image Me Squeshia.
  • Maybe ten? They do this so often with me now they know it's better if they just do what I tell them and get it over with. We had it down to a science in our old apartment, and I could get the picture in a couple of shots. Now that we're in a new place they have to explore the set up before they will be still, so it takes a little longer.
  • This might be a stupid question, but where do you get your bunnies from? You are making me want one and I already asked DH if we could get one.

LOL. Not a stupid question. I got both of them at the pet shop in Boone. I don't know anywhere other than there, because before I got them I didn't really know anything about bunnies. Just ask around at any local petshop. I'm sure they can tell you where to go or if they sell rabbits.

I will warn you though, they can make some serious messes for something so small. But they have really big personalities and I think cleaning up the mess is worth the reward. ; )

    Do they snuggle?

  • Guilford County Animal shelter sometimes has bunnies. I would check with an animal shelter before going to a pet store.

    Do they snuggle?

They are more likely to snuggle if there is just one. Before we got Milton, Brunswick was attached to me and would follow me around our apartment. Sometimes he would get up on the sofa and lay on my chest and take a nap and when we slept late I could bring him into the bed and he'd go to sleep next me me under the covers. But since we got Milton he cuddles with him and they only cuddle with me every now and then.

If you sit on the floor (get on their level) that helps them to get used to you. They're kind of stand-offish at first.

They do give kisses. Sometimes Brunswick will lick my whole face before he quits. It's so stinkin' sweet.
