I just nearly peed myself.
My kid was asleep in our oversized recliner. I was sitting at the kitchen table, about 20 feet away. I heard him giggle and looked up to find him in the window behind the recliner! Our windows are NOT close to the ground. He had climbed up the recliner to get there! Holy cow, I about had a panic attack. And in the process of going to him, I slipped on his blanket and fell while still holding my point-and-shoot camera (I had been about to upload pics). Now it's broken.

But thankfully my child is ok. We will definitely be converting the crib to a toddler bed this weekend. Wish us luck. I have no idea how we will keep an 11 month old in the bed.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
Tiff, that's crazy! How did he even figure that out?!
Lincoln's crib is already on the lowest setting. I think I'm going to take the bumper out until DH gets home. I was watching him the other day, and if he ever figures out the exact spot to stand on the corner of the crib bumper, he'll be out. Thankfully his crib is too heavy for him to move.
not sure how he figured it out. lol. the crib is on wood floor. if it was on carpet i dont think he would be able to move it. i'd definetly take the bumper out and then see what happens. Even if he falls out he'll be fine. lol
