You've got to be kidding me.....
I woke up this morning to snow everywhere and -1 Celsius! It hasn't stopped, not just flurries either it's like a full out snowstorm! I have been whining all day to my co-workers, totally not a fun way to start off a Monday morning. I have to walk home in this stuff too, apparently mother nature did not get the memo that it is freaking October!
How was your weekend? We had a pretty low-key weekend, except for the fact that DH's team pulled off a huge win and are still in the play-off hunt! We also went to see the movie "The Town" which was amazing and made me miss Boston so much!

Re: You've got to be kidding me.....
I would cry. There are no other words... I would be in a ball crying if I saw snow in October. I know it is coming (heck, how is it six days from November already) but I'm never prepared for it.
How was your weekend? Uneventful. By BFF from Pennsylvania was supposed to come up to visit. But I spent Tuesday evening in Urgent Care so I told her it was probably better off if we rescheduled. Yesterday DH painted our bedroom and then we went with our neighbors to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the local zoo.
I would be crying tears of wonder if I ever saw snow or hail at any time of the year at home. I cry when it rains though. CA people move at half speed when it rains and it feels like NOTHING gets done.
Weekend: Busy. We had a nice date night at the play "Becky Shaw" on Friday. It was ok, glad we didn't pay for the tickets though. I love going to the theater, but this was a play I could have lived without. Poor H thought we were going to see "South Pacific" and was kind of excited about it. Oops. We competed in a chili cook-off on Saturday night, but realized (once again) that cooking competitions like this are all about popularity. We had fun though. Sunday was my niece's birthday, then I took an incredible nap.
I'd be really really bitter. It's 82 here today and I'm rather annoyed because it should be fall, so apparently mother nature can't win with me.
Weekend: We had our Turtleween celebration at work and it was a huge hit! Lots of folks came and everyone had a great time. We had a hayride this year that was new and it was such fun. My nephew even won the costume contest!
I am pretty devastated about the weather, it was cold this weekend but the snow just surprised me! It is supposed to melt this week, but there is a lot of it right now!
Misa- What's wrong, are you feeling better?

It has been raining here for the last week, but I love it. It has actually snowed here once since I've moved to Vegas and you would think a bomb had gone off. School was cancelled, people stayed home from work, it was insane.
I've also experienced snow in October when I lived in Minnesota. There was more than one Halloween that I had to wear boots and a coat over my costume.
Weekend: I went to the Bite of Las Vegas, not as good as I wanted it to be. Otherwise we just chilled, had pizza, watched Netfilx, I fell asleep at 845 on Saturday night. Wild woman over here!!!
Who freakin' knows! Seriously, I felt like I was more qualified to give a diagnosis after one biological science class in college than the doctor I saw at the Urgent Care. He wanted to give me a chest x-ray because he thought I could have pneumonia even though I had no real symptom of it (I just had a cough that wouldn't go away). Pretty much I said what medications I wanted to take and he just wrote a prescription for it all. Kinda scary actually to be given hardcore meds by just saying I wanted an antibiotic, codine cough medicine, and a steroid inhaler... good thing I'm not addicted to pain killers or anything! *Yikes*
The weather here is far too warm for my liking--it was 70 today and it's irritating. I'm ready for cold weather!
Weekend: We went to Boston for our last wedding of 2010 (and hopefully for quite some time!). It was my DH's dad's side of the family, and it was a great time. We are all pretty scattered out, so whenever we do get together, it's always a great time.

Misa, I'm sorry hun. I hope you feel better soon! Hopefully, the self-prescribed drugs will help
And I would have cried if it snowed. Even though I'm used to it from growing up in Michigan, it never came this early. That is insane!
My weekend was busybusybusy. Friday I can't remember what we did. Saturday and Sunday, I had my prelicensing class to sell life insurance in Oklahoma that was EIGHT HOURS! Talk about misery, especially when your ankles are the size of an elephant's. Other than that, nothing much else happened.
