DH and I are hosting a halloween party at our house this Friday at 7:30pm.  We are expecting about 22 people.

Queso Dip
Spinach Dip
7 Layer Dip
Chips
Sausage Balls
Mummy Wieners (Hotdogs wrapped in pastry strips to look like Mummies)
Bread Bones (biscuits cut apart and rolled to look like bones)
Dozen amazing cupcakes from a local bakery
Dozen Cookies from same bakery

Everyone is bringing their drink of choice.

What else do you think I need?

Thanks!

Re: Help with Finger Food List

  • It looks like you'll have plenty of food, but I'd add a veggie or a fruit tray to the mix to offset some of the bread items.

  • With all the dip you could add a fruit dip and have some cut up fruit. If you want.......if you make it yourself you could die it red and add some mini marshmellows and call it blood and guts...if you're going for the whole gory Halloween thing ;)
  • i've made this toffee-apple dip and used apples and other fruits with it, and i always get asked for the recipe.  it. is. the. bomb.  my mouth is watering just thinking about it, it's that good.

i doubled the recipe for 12 bunco ladies, served with apple slices, and it was gone by the end of the night.

    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Yield: Makes about 3 cups
Ingredients1  (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened1  (8-oz.) package toffee bits3/4  cup  firmly packed light brown sugar1/2  cup  granulated sugar1  teaspoon  vanilla extractPreparation

    1. Stir together all ingredients until well blended. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 5 days.

eta: at my local heb, the toffee bits are over with the chocolate chips in the baking aisle.
