Can I ask why you chose Nook vs Kindle? I really want an e reader, but I am still up in the air as to which one I will get.

Sorry to hijack, but I have a Nook as well, and the Kindle just didn't compare. I did a lot of reasearch and I'm so happy with my Nook.

See thats my problem, most of the comparison charts are for the Kindle 2, theres a 3 now. Much that the 2 didnt have & the Nook did, now the 3rd has it. So really theyre just about the same now except that the Nook has the touch screen down bottom where the Kindle has a keypad.
I guess I need to keep looking at them.

To be completely honest, my mil asked H which one we would prefer (she got us both nooks for our birthdays). Neither of us had any preference and the kindle was sold out at the time so she got us nooks.
However, I have to say that I love my nook and I'm really glad that's the one I got. I like the touch screen. I also love that you can get library books on it and lend books to other nooks. You can also read books for free if you are in a Barnes and Noble.
I know people used to prefer the kindle because you could browse the internet on it, but the new nook has the same feature. I was on facebook the other night. I haven't used a kindle, but I do really like the nook!
