How do your store your linens?

I have a dresser where I keep extra sheets, table linens, etc. but what about larger items that don't fit well in a drawer, like comforters and pillows?

Re: How do your store your linens?

  • I have a couple of the plastic zippered bags that comforters and bed sets that I have bought came in. I keep large items in those in a closet.

  • Space Bags! I know you see all of the info-mercials on T.V., but, they sell them at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and I had to try them, They shrink all of the air out of them and keep my linens smelling clean and fresh, with little to no space! I can keep comforters and pillows in my guest room dresser! It's totally great!

  • I keep mine in the cedar chest

  • I keep some in our linen closet and extra pillows in our guest rooms (in case our guests want an extra pillow).  But I'm seriously considering the space saver bags...we have waaayyy too many extra pillows and they take up so much space!
  • I also use space saver bags for all season table linens and extra comforters and pillows. I put a dryer sheet in the bag as well so they come out smelling fresh.
  • I have a large closet for linens, and spare pillows are always on the guest bed.
  • I use the space saving bags from Target.  They sell them in the travel aisle where you find luggage locks and travel pillows.  They are wonderful for decreasing the volume of comforters.  Also, with all the scare of bed bugs, I bought an extra few for when I travel...just in case.
