SSA today
I'm finally getting into legally changing my name. DH has been pestering my for the last few weeks cause we need new checks and want to get them with our new names on them. I'm kinda sad, but excited at the same time! Hopefully the lines not too long. But I'll bring a good book just in case

I had barely any wait at all! Easier than the DMV was, tho, that was relatively painless, as I had an appointment. Have fun shopping!
Yes dh has been bugging me too. I got my new SS card a few weeks ago. Need to go to DMV but I was waiting because my current one expires in Jan and didn't want to have to pay twice. However, I found out you can renew up to a year early if you didn't have any moving violations. So I'm getting my hair done Fri and then I'll get the new DL next week. I'm kinda excited too!

My DH birthday is Nov 12th
I got it all changed they said that it would take about a week to get the new card. I had to wait about 30 min. in line but I brought a book. And then my "interview" as they called it took about 10 min.
Then my and the pup went to the dog park and took a walk down to the river, went to petco and got him a new toy and walking collar, then I found a pair of pants and a cute coat at Old Navy. It was a very nice day. Now I need to go cook dinner and me and DH are carving our pumpkins tonight
Uh, dang. I waited in the SSA for over 2 hours. Thank goodness I didn't have anything else to do that day.
