Sorry I've been MIA this week! Anything going on this weekend? I know SBS is in Vegas (biatch!). As for me, I'm spending time with my very pregnant BFF and then helping my dad pour concrete into our garage drain (don't ask).

This is our first weekend since May with not much to do (YAAAY). My nephew's birthday party is tonight but other than that we ARE NOT making plans! I do have a lot of work to catch up on and would like to get some things done around the house. I'm also on vacation for a week so I'm excited to finally have time to breathe and relax a little bit!

Hi Mames! That's just 'cause I'm never on here. I wish I had updated house pics but we've been so busy I haven't even had the opportunity to decorate or do anything...isn't that horrible! Any time we've been home we worked on the yard. I'm planning on taking care of business this winter...I really want curtains, colored walls, and pictures hanging! I promise I'll share once I actually do something. How's your place coming along?

hey there! I haven't been on tn much this week bc I'm not really sure how flexible things are with internet usage at work... everything seems pretty chill so far, but being in a dept with a bunch of IT people... I haven't decided whether that is to my advantage or disadvantage when it comes to internet flexibility.

But the new job is great! And I get to take my macbook home on nights & weekends! So this weekend I am trying to get a jumpstart on my first project. I'll be designing a website for my boss' boss' boss (I think). No pressure or anything.

Besides that I am hoping to clean up the house tomorrow. Tonight I got to see my cute 4 month old nephew. He is so smiley and adorable, he is totally giving me baby rabies!

We've been running around all weekend... my parents were visiting, I had a small catering order, we put together our baby registries, and went to the Louisville football game. It's been busy... now I need to catch up on some work and update my blog -- I've been so bad at that lately.

I went to visit my sister in Cleveland for the weekend. We saw Legally Blonde the Musical (so good), wore lots of pink and then did some X-mas shopping. A great weekend

SBS - yes, yes I am! I've always wanted to go to Vegas!

barb - My house is a very sloooow work in progress. I have a ton of projects I want to do including finishing the man cave and redoing the guest room from head to toe, but I've been lazy. We just got a new shag rug for the LR. ::sigh:: That's about it.

Woah, wait, you've NEVER been to Vegas?!?! Oh we must fix this at once!

I guess I forget what a luxury it is to live so close (we drive -- it only takes 4-5 hours, depending on if we stop for food or to shop at the outlet malls...). I've been to Vegas at least nine times since I turned 21, and at least fifteen times before that (lots of family reunions).

Vegas is expensive though. I know a lot of people say you can "do Vegas cheap" but that usually translates to some pretty sketch places...I would recommend saving up so you can stay at one of the nicer resorts on the Strip and can see at least one show.
