that I blocked a girl on FB that I went to high school with and am not really friends friends with her. I blocked her because I cannot STAND her constant grammatical and spelling errors.
I'm a horrible person. But damn. Really???

No... you're not a bad person. I do it all the time. I have an aquaintance on there that uses numerals instead of words (i.e. 4ever & 2) and uses words like "diz" for this and "da" for the. I find it super annoying.
I also block people who play FarmVille, Happy Aquarium, PioneerVille - all that stupid crap. AND people who post music videos a billion times a day. And those who preach on their FB status. I'm a Christian but I don't shove it down people's throats and I don't like it shoved down mine.
So... in conclusion... you are not a bad person.
It just makes me feel bad, but it just makes me think of her the same way I thought of her in middle school and high school...not very smart. Sure she may have gone to college but she doesn't sound like it.
I have another person on there that uses numbers and it drives me crazy. I blocked the Farmville/Petville/Treasure whatever apps but I can still see statuses from everyone.
I also hate preaching on statuses too. Jenny, I think we're the same facebook person!! LOL

I "hide" people that I can't stand their status updates for all of the reasons mentioned above. I actually went through and removed about 100 people from my friend list that I dont talk to anymore. I also went through and un-tagged myself from 700 pictures down to like 80. I felt weird having so many pictures tagged of myself in other people's albums.
I do this to. There's one woman I'm friends with that all her updates where from farmville, that really aggravated me because it took up the whole screen.
i've deleted people because they're annoying cowboys/steelers/ eagles fans.

Not alone. I would also like to block a niece I have because she tells everyone what she is doing I swear minute to minute but she is my niece even though she is 24 she acts like a teen. UGH Grow up and get a life. Yes she still lives at home with mommy to. Mom acts close to the same way. These are SIL and niece by the way grrrr STUPID people
How do you block people's status from the newsfeed?
Also, if anyone can help me in figuring out how to put a flipping picture up on my profile I would love the help! I have no idea how to put a pic up and would really like the help. (it need to be step by step directions! ha!)
I'd love to help, but I can't remember step by step and I can't access FB from work. Sorry =[
CLick on your profile picture (whatever it is now). It will open up your profile. Click on "Edit My Profile". Then under Upload Your Photo, click browse to find the picture you want and then "Save Changes" at the bottom. It takes a few minutes for the picture to actually show up, but that should do it.
I quit FB to get away from the insanity. So I'm a worse person!
But, Sarah... you're putting the Steelers in the same category as the Cowboys and the Eagles? REALLY?!?! That stings.
Those two teams are three-way tied with the Patriots for my Most Loathed in the NFL.
