Our art museum has an awesome one outside the theater. When I go to movies there, I just stare at it.
And I would freak the eff out being up that high in the apartment. It is cool, though.
I'm torn like Mod. I also feel like the owners are trying too hard and I would find them irritating IRL. Love the space though.
Buddha, I thought you weren't sure about Chihuly because he doesn't (well, can't) blow his own pieces? From the court case a few years ago I have questions about how involved he is in his studio.

I used to get to see this Chihuly all the time. I'll have to go visit it again soon.
Oooh, the orange is pretty. We have a big yellow one similar to that in the lobby of the OKCMOA.
Mouse, I remember being really surprised when I watched a video showing Chihuly "work". I was like, "wait, he's not really doing anything." The stuff is still awesome, though.
When I worked at Pike Place Market a guy that worked at a store near me was a glass blower and quit to go work with Chihuly.

I do really like it, though the openness might get annoying. I don't understand why it's decorated like a freshman dorm room.

Chihuly does whacked out paintings and then someone else magically turns the paintings into beautiful glass pieces. He should be credited as a painter and not a glass artist.
As an architect I love seeing places like that apartment but I don't know about living there.
