My Profile
Being back in bed sounds great! Maybe I will luck out and get a nap today.
I swear our next house is going to have so much insulation that you won't beable to hear anything from room to room. My husband is up every morning at 5:30 or 6, on Monday and Tuesdays because he has an externship at the Kent County Public Defenders office those days. Once he starts moving around our 2yo is up. He keeps her occupied until 7, when he needs to shower.
The last few nights have been rough, we just got through the sickness, now S is up every hour or hour and a half to eat. 3month growth spurt, i guess
That sounds ideal.

My BFF made a good point about me and my hair- I've never been happy with long hair. As soon as it gets long, I start to hate it and cut it. Then I'm happy again. She's totally right.
I'm getting having a hair consult with a friend who does hair on Wednesday. We'll see what she says about my hair crisis.
Woot - hope you figure out something fun! I'm considering going short again, we'll see if I take the plunge or not. :-)
TheWop, I'm the same way. I finally found a short style that grows out nice and that I love.
My random is that I have to clean my entry way, but the weather is so crappy I'm thinking that I'll do it tomorrow or Thursday.

Are you talking about the green hallway? I saw that post and I totally agree with you. We've been painting a lot of neutrals in our house, but I've been making sure to also incorporate color (like a blue dining room!) to keep it interesting and not too boring. lol I was slightly offended by that post because we're considering painting our office bright green
I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets annoyed by them
Though when I posted pictures of my neutral living room, they could see a glimpse of my entrway and a lot of people wanted to know what color green it was. I took that as they liked it...
Yes, but that's not the first post I've seen where everyone suggests a beige color when somone asks for color recommendations. What ever happened to orange, red, blue, green...... Maybe because we don't plan on moving so we're more bold with our colors. We don't have to worry about repainting in 5 years to sell our house.
Eeeek! Scary!
Wop - I hope you get a cute haircut with your consult on Wednesday. I'm the opposite - I LOVE my hair long. Every once in a while I'll cut it short, then hate it and grow it out.
Wall colors - I agree beige is not for everyone. I have a plethora of color in my house - apple green and chocolate brown dining room - ice blue and chocolate brown living room - yellow stairwell and hallway/entrance. If I get off my lazy a$$ the master bedroom will be taupe and even a darker brown - to match my bedspread.
I hope the storm passes you guyes with minimal damage.

Agreed -- Does NOT sound like fun.
When I booked our TC hotel over a month ago (for our September trip, not this past weekend trip), I tried using a 10% coupon code for hotels.com. The hotel was only $70, so it was only saving me $7, but it's still $7. The price was right when I hit "book hotel", but there was no discount for the coupon code on my confirmation email.
I emailed hotels.com right away and brought it to their attention in hopes that they could fix it and/or issue a credit for $7.
5 weeks later they finally email me back, and all it said was "There was no coupon code used at the time of the booking."
Blah. So I emailed them back telling them that a 5 week turn around was excellent customer service, and that I did use a coupon code but it's only $7 so no big deal.
They emailed me a $20 hotel voucher today. Mini score. All I wanted was my $7 back.
WOOHOO!!
Our house is full of color, and I love it. If we unexpectedly have to sell, I guess we'll repaint. Repainting is annoying, but it's not that big of a deal.
That's awesome!
Good to hear - thanks for the update. Some CW's were mentioning that schools were sending kids home - something about the safety of traveling in a bus during high winds? That might just be rumors though.
