FuzzyLogic

I was going to post and ask you if you ran this weekend/today, but then I spotted your bloggy blog and saw that you did.  Way to go!  Have you decided on a race yet?

I should finish week 7 tomorrow.

Re: FuzzyLogic

  • I will definitely do the Turkey Trot...it might be less of a trot for me and more of a gasp, wheeze, etc. but I plan on it!

The Nov. 20 run is in the air--if I have any kids wanting to audition for a certain honor band, the audition is that day. If not, it's a possibility :)

  • ****butting in****

Is this for a marathon? Dh is training for one in April and I was interested in doing it too.

  • Pretty,

I'm going to butt in to answer...

It's for a 5K in November. As for a marathon, I'm thinking of maybe doing the half at the Memorial Marathon May 1. If I don't do the half, I'll definitely do the relay. I will need some relay team members... I'm looking at you, as well, Fuzzy and Wendy.

Awesome! I was looking at that one too, that was what initially peaked my interest. I just started training (as in yesterday) but I definitely would love to join in.

  • I'm planning on the half at the OKC Memorial run as well.  My BFF from Seattle is even flying in to run it with us (my twin sister will run it too).

If for some reason I can't make the half, we'll do a relay Okla Smile.

  • Wendy, I may make you kick my ass into doing the half. I really want to, just not sure if I have the time to run enough to be ready for it. Based on my normal 5k time, it would take me 2 hours to get 13.2 miles in.

ETA: Fuzzy, don't laugh. You can doooo eeet. The relay legs are 5K(2 legs), 10K (2 legs) and 12k (1 leg).

We have a team here at school that always runs the marathon--they fight over who has to do the 12k lol. We'll see how my training goes Wink  Could be fun--I've wanted to get involved with it for a long time now.
