hahahahaha! My dogs HATE to be dressed up. I love to do it though. I can't do it this year because Geege is now all of the sudden scared to be in the kitchen or dining room in addition to being scared to go up the stairs. I have renamed him Heebie Geebie. Seriously though it upsets me we can't figure out what's wrong and it's awful.
steph, this pictures says "but mom, why did you make us dress like this? why are you so mean?"
sorry to hear about geege!!!

OMG they are so cute.
Also, that is really strange. Is there something about these rooms that they share in common? Wood flood? Carpeting? It just started all of a sudden? Have you talk to the vet yet?
Geege is a weird dude. We adopted him, and he's just a really loveable but extremely neurotic and anxious dog. He actually has a human xanax prescription because of his insane aversion to fireworks and thunderstorms. He cannot deal with loud noises, he is extremely protective of me and any baby that comes into our house (if the baby is on the floor, he sits right at the baby's side and will not move), and he also doesn't really like to look you in the eye. He's squirrelly.
He's easily freaked out, and at times in the past has been afraid to go up the steps, or down the steps, but then would just start going up again. Now he seems to favor carpet - the dining room has wood floors and the kitchen is laminate. He might've slid? I don't know. It's all of the sudden, just started happening last week.
I keep taking him into the kitchen and sitting on the floor with him, but he slinks out as soon as he's able. It's bizarre.

Aw poor little monkey! How old is he? Also I am melting at the thought of him playing baby protector. I bet you're on to something with the slide...could've happened while you were at work and now he's spooked.
David's dog has epilepsy and it has made he more and more stressed and high-strung in the last few years. It's been a long time since she's had a seizure but if she doesn't get her way she'll just flip out. Refuse to move. Won't eat. So annoying...
Geege should totally have his own TV show.
And ever since I dressed him as spiderman he's been acting sort of alter ego super hero-ish. The valiant defender and protector in costume...the vulnerable scared man with a shady past in real life...
